4. No two teams can be identical.  Teams are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
5. There are NO PRIZES for individual races or overall league results.
6. Points will be awarded according to how the components of the player's team perform in each 'Real Life' race. (see rule 14 below for an explanation of points awarded). Each player scores the sum of points awarded. For the players selected Joker Race, double points will be scored. (This could be double positive or negative points)

If 50% or more of the participants in the 'Real Race' do not take part / cross the start line after the start of the race, then the race will not count towards the Fantasy League championship.

11.` The Fantasy Race Results are provisional until any protests made in the real race are settled. Results will be taken from the following sources: www.formula1.com
12. The league administrators do not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet.
13. Players must supply full details as required by the entry form, and comply with all rules.
14. Points awarded for component: (The highest finishing component from each real race team will score the points.)

Each component will be given a finishing position even if they do not finish the race. For example, if an F1 driver crashes on lap 1 and he is the first to retire from the race, he will be given 20th position. If 2 or more drivers fail on the same lap, they will be given the same position, i.e. a crash on the first lap between 2 cars, would net both of them 19th place. Positions are given in order of first to last.
  • Finishes in the points:

    1  25
    2  18

    (i.e. Starts 12th, finishes 6th, 12 - 6 = 6pts, Starts 6th finishes 12th, 6 - 12 = -6pts
